Kamal Haasan And AR Rahman Reunite After Two Decades For Thalaivan Irukkindraan And It's Going To Be Legendary
Kamal Haasan and A R Rahman just announced their collaboration after 19 years on a magnum opus titled Thalaivan Irukkindraan.

Music director A R Rahman took to Twitter to make the grand announcement that he will be working with the legend himself, Mr. Kamal Haasan for an upcoming Magnum Opus "Thalaivan Irukkindraan", a film by Lyca Productions and Raaj Kamal Films International. He also posted a picture of himself with Mr. Haasan putting a stamp on the association.

AR Rahman shared, “Happy and excited to collaborate with the one and only @ikamalhaasan himself on a magnum opus... Watch this space for more @RKFI @lycaproductions #RKFI #lycaproductions”. Further to his post, Mr Kamal Haasan replied by saying, "Thanks ARR for strengthening the team with your participation. Very few projects feel good & right even as we develop it. Thalaivan Irukkindraan is one such. Your level of excitement for the project is very contagious. Let me pass it on to the rest of our crew @RKFI @LycaProductions”

The 2009 Oscar-winning music director will be working with Haasan after 19 years. Their last project together was "Thenali" in the year 2000. The anticipation of the netizens and fans of the two legends has hit the roof after the announcement and we can't wait to witness their work as one team again.

Talking about Kamal Haasan, on Sridevi’s 55th birth anniversary, the actor had an exclusive chat with SpotBoyE.com wherein he spoke about his co-star of 27 films. It’s well-known that Haasan and Sridevi shared a strong bond and did a number of movies over the years.

Thus, goes without saying, the megastar suffered a major setback when the actress passed away. “It was very tragic. For me, I met Sridevi when she was younger than Janhvi. I am a pupil of the same institution as her – K Balachander. I was her bully and trainer.  It was a strange relationship. People would think of us as collegemates but she called me ‘Sir’. I was like those part-time lecturers who take classes for her. We have done 27 films together. That’s a lifetime.”
